OKX is seeking a Principal AI Engineer to lead autonomous AI agent development for our crypto exchange platform. You will design, implement, and optimize reasoning, planning, and learning agents operating in real-time environments.

The role requires a PhD or Master’s in CS/AI with 10+ years of experience and a track record delivering end-to-end AI systems in fast-paced finance or crypto settings. collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in CS/AI with 10+ years of industry experience.
• Proven track record deploying autonomous AI agents in live environments.
• Experience designing multi-agent frameworks and agent ecosystems.
• Expertise with goal-oriented agents, memory management, tool use, and RL-based decisions.
• Delivered end-to-end AI systems in finance, crypto, or high-frequency domains.
• Strong collaboration with product, engineering, and business teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and lifecycle management of autonomous AI agents for crypto exchange ops.
• Architect MAS frameworks enabling goal-directed reasoning and planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define agent roles and KPIs.
• Drive experiments, simulations, and continuous learning pipelines.
• Ensure security, scalability, and regulatory compliance of AI systems.
