Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is seeking an Executive Director - Development to lead masterplanned projects in the UAE. You will guide master planning, design direction, and the execution of large-scale developments, aligning with strategic goals, budgets, and timelines.

The role requires extensive real estate development experience, UAE exposure, and a proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders including investors, authorities, and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 18+ years in real estate development with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Prior UAE experience is mandatory.
• Strong project management and multi-project handling abilities.
• Knowledge of local regulations, zoning laws, and permitting processes.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven decision capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams in conceptualization and execution of development projects, ensuring quality and timelines.
• Manage relationships with investors, government authorities, and partners to enable approvals and smooth execution.
• Provide strategic guidance on design and master planning aligned with market demands and trends.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to realize project vision and business case.
• Drive continuous improvements within development, optimizing processes and workflows.
• Collaborate with sales/marketing to develop strategies for new developments and revenue growth.
• Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to guide decisions.
• Oversee preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, monitor expenditure and revenue.
• Drive sustainability initiatives within development projects.
