Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale horizontal infrastructure and master-planned communities.

The role involves overseeing planning, design, procurement, and execution of roads, utilities, power, and enabling works, while managing consultants, contractors, and partners to meet programme, budget, quality, and safety objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale master-planned communities or infrastructure-led projects.
• Experience with GCC or comparable markets.
• Strong stakeholder management and governance experience.
• Leadership of project delivery teams and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of major horizontal infrastructure and community development projects.
• Oversee planning, design, procurement, and execution of roads, utilities, power, and enabling works packages.
• Manage project consultants, contractors, and delivery partners to achieve programme, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
• Develop and implement project delivery strategies aligned with overall development goals.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and coordinate with internal departments, authorities, and external partners.
• Monitor project progress, risks, change management, and commercial performance across multiple workstreams.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, governance requirements, and development standards.
• Lead value engineering and risk management initiatives to optimize project outcomes.
• Provide strategic leadership to project teams while mentoring and developing direct reports.
• Deliver regular reporting and recommendations to senior management on project status, challenges, and mitigation strategies.
