Job summary

BMLL is seeking an experienced Quantitative Analyst to join our HK-based product team, reporting to the Head of Data Science for EMEA and APAC. You will leverage our data suite to drive marketing initiatives and analyze client needs, ensuring transparent, reproducible results.

The role requires a detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and collaborates across technical and business teams to shape our product offerings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of quantitative analysis experience with MSc in a quantitative field (STEM or Economics).
• Proficiency in Python with libraries such as NumPy, pandas, Polars, scikit-learn for data manipulation and modeling.
• At least 3 years’ experience with order book market data and familiarity with other instruments (derivatives, equities, fixed income).
• Excellent spoken and written English and Mandarin; Cantonese helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive impact by using the BMLL product suite to support marketing and sales.
• Collaborate with go-to-market team to promote the product and gather customer feedback.
• Assist in technical prototyping for external partners leveraging a petabyte-scale data lake and advanced tools.
• Support product development by contributing to the roadmap and ideation.
