Job summary

Gravitas Recruitment Group Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Python Engineer / Technical Lead to lead backend engineering in a fast-growing fintech environment. You will own core Python services, shape architecture, and partner with product teams to deliver scalable enterprise software.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of Python experience, strong data modeling skills, and a track record of delivering robust systems within SDLC, CI/CD, and DevOps frameworks. Excellent English communication required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Python backend development.
• Experience architecting, scaling, and maintaining large-scale corporate software systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Software Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own core Python-based engines and automated lifecycle processes.
• Design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade software systems.
• Understand business logic and align technical solutions accordingly.
• Collaborate with product management to design and launch platform capabilities.
• Ensure deliverables meet predefined technical criteria.
• Operate within an automated DevOps and Agile framework.
