Job summary

JPC TEXSON LTD in Hong Kong seeks a Costing Specialist to lead group-wide product costing for EMS operations. You will establish scalable costing models, validate BOMs and routings, and deliver cost insights for pricing, procurement, and manufacturing.

You will partner with Operations, Engineering and Finance to drive margin improvement, inventory efficiency and data-driven decisions across factories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of costing analysis in EMS/manufacturing.
• Proven ability to build and upgrade costing frameworks.
• Strong Excel skills and data handling.
• Experience with inventory management and valuation.
• Ability to present complex costing data to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance standard product costing (materials, labour, overhead) across product families.
• Analyze standard vs actual costs, explain variances, suggest actions.
• Prepare inventory valuation analyses and reconcile with ledgers.
• Assist in stocktakes and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Validate BOMs and routings in ERP for accurate costing.
• Quantify cost impacts of engineering changes and productivity projects.
• Maintain data integrity for costing master data in ERP.
• Support RFQ processes with product cost estimates and benchmarking.
• Contribute to budgets and rolling forecasts for manufacturing costs.
• Track cost trends and highlight risks/opportunities.
• Identify cost-reduction initiatives with Operations and Procurement.
• Analyze production efficiency, scrap and labour utilization.
• Prepare cost and KPI reports for senior management.
