Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) seeks a Senior System Analyst to join the Listing Systems Team. You will design, develop, and support PEGA-based applications for the Listing Division, participating in the full software development lifecycle and coordinating with stakeholders and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in software development and enterprise application support.
• Hands-on PEGA application development and case management experience.
• Strong SDLC knowledge including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Experience with SQL Server and database performance tuning.
• Experience in Agile environments with Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent communication with business users, project teams, and vendors.
• Professional certifications in PEGA (CSA/CSSA) and PMP are a plus.
• Experience in stock exchange or financial markets is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analysis, design, development, and support of PEGA workflow and case management solutions for HKEX Listing business processes.
• Gather requirements, analyze business processes, and design workflow solutions for efficiency and compliance.
• Drive solution design reviews ensuring PEGA applications meet enterprise architecture, security, resiliency, and performance requirements.
• Coordinate development, testing, deployment, and production support across teams and vendors.
• Manage releases, change requests, defects, and incidents to meet service levels.
• Root cause analysis and preventive measures for production issues.
• Define and execute testing strategies covering functional, integration, performance, resilience and disaster recovery.
• Support platform modernization and infrastructure changes.
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge transfer to support teams.
