Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) is seeking a Senior System Analyst to join the Listing Systems Team. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle for PEGA-based applications supporting HKEX Listing Department.

You will engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, design PEGA workflows, and ensure compliance with architecture, security, and performance standards, while coordinating releases and production support across internal and external teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in software development, implementation, and support of enterprise-scale business applications.
• Hands-on experience in PEGA application development, case management, and enterprise application support.
• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Proven experience in incident management, problem resolution, root cause analysis, and production support for business-critical systems.
• Excellent SQL Server knowledge, DB troubleshooting, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience integrating applications with external systems and services; understanding of enterprise architecture.

Responsibilities

• Analysis, design, development, and support of PEGA workflow and case management solutions for HKEX Listing business processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and design workflow solutions that improve efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Drive solution design reviews and ensure PEGA applications comply with enterprise architecture, security, resiliency, and performance requirements.
• Coordinate development, testing, deployment, and production support activities across teams and vendors.
• Manage releases, changes, defects, and incidents to meet service levels and business expectations.
• Perform root cause analysis for production issues and implement preventive measures.
• Define and execute testing strategies covering functional, integration, performance, resilience, and disaster recovery.
• Support system enhancements and platform modernization including infrastructure changes and application optimizations.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and knowledge transfer to support teams.
