Octopus Holdings Limited is seeking a Communications professional to support planning and execution of media relations, public affairs, and stakeholder engagement in a fast-paced environment. The role involves coordinating product launches, events, and social media campaigns to strengthen brand awareness.

The candidate will develop press materials, speeches, and newsletters, while building strong relationships with media, partners, and internal teams. Fluency in English and Chinese is essential.

Formación

• 3–4 years of solid experience in media, public relations or corporate communications with sizable organisations.
• Experience in media relations, event management, content development and integrated communications campaigns.
• High proficiency in written and verbal English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) is a must.
• Familiarity with digital and multimedia storytelling is an advantage.
• Self-starter, driven, outgoing with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the Department/Team Head in planning and executing communication activities, including media relations, public affairs, and stakeholder engagement.
• Assist in coordinating product and service launches, events, and social media campaigns.
• Help improve the company's image and awareness through basic communication tasks such as preparing press releases, speeches, and newsletters.
• Support the team in building good relationships with media, partners, and other stakeholders.
• Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by the Department/Team Head.

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Social Sciences or related disciplines
• Minimum3-4 years’ solid experience inmedia, public relations, orcorporate communications with sizable organisations
• Experience in media relations, event management, content development and integrated communications campaigns
• Familiarity with digital and multimedia storytelling is an advantage
• A good team player with exceptional interpersonal, presentation and communication skills; self-starter, driven, outgoing and able to work independently under pressure and tight timelines in a dynamic setting; mature and resilient with a strong entrepreneurial mind-set and can-do attitude.
• Willing to provide hands‑on administrative support for the team and handle ad‑hoc tasks
• High proficiency in written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese andPutonghua) is a must
