Job summary

John Swire & Sons (HK) Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Officer, Group Public Affairs to help manage corporate websites, internal platforms and communications materials for the Swire Group's Asia-focused operations.

The role involves coordinating with operating companies, supporting annual and interim reports, events, media and stakeholder engagement, and ensuring branding consistency across Group communications.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, or related disciplines.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in public affairs or corporate communications, preferably in listed companies.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong cross-functional coordination skills with a proactive, agile mindset.
• Sound proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with familiarity with generative AI tools, image and video editing tools, and content management systems.
• Exceptional communication skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua, traditional and simplified).

Responsibilities

• Manage the Group's corporate websites and internal communications platform, ensuring content is accurate, up to date and accessible to stakeholders.
• Support the production of annual and interim results materials, including translation coordination, report production and digital publication.
• Manage corporate events and stakeholder engagement activities, including event planning, logistics and on-site execution.
• Work with operating companies to ensure the consistent application of Group-wide branding and communications guidelines.
• Manage the communication of corporate news, announcements and updates to media, investors and other stakeholder groups.
• Monitor media coverage and public affairs issues relevant to the Group, and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.
• Support ad-hoc public affairs, corporate communications and stakeholder engagement initiatives as required.

Senior Officer, Group Public Affairs
