Job summary

CTF Services Limited is a finance professional recruitment in Hong Kong seeking a candidate to assist in corporate finance transactions, including M&A and group restructurings. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills and fluency in English and Chinese.

You will support due diligence, financial modelling, and preparation of key documents, coordinate with advisers and business partners, and monitor the performance of portfolio companies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis and transaction execution.
• Experience in Big 4 deals advisory, investment funds, banking or equity research preferred.
• Strong business acumen, analytical and communication skills.
• English and Chinese proficiency; Putonghua a plus.
• CPA and/or CFA qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing corporate finance transactions including M&A and group restructuring.
• Support due diligence, financial modelling, negotiations and key documents.
• Prepare information memoranda, teasers and financial forecasts.
• Draft and follow up transaction documentation under supervision.
• Coordinate with group offices, advisors and partners during executions.
• Monitor portfolio companies’ performance both operationally and financially.
• Conduct industry or company research as required.

Job description

• Assist in the execution of corporate finance transactions including mergers and acquisitions, capital recycling and group restructuring;
• Support managers in due diligence procedures, financial modelling, negotiations and preparation of key transaction documents;
• Prepare project documentation such as teasers, information memoranda, financial forecasts, presentations, etc.
• Prepare, review and follow up transaction issues and documentation under guidance of supervisors.
• Coordinate and partner with group office functions, third party advisors and business partners in the execution of transactions.
• Monitor the operational and financial performance of portfolio companies;
• Carry out other corporate finance activities such as undertaking industry or company research as and when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline(s).
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis and transaction execution (ideally with professional experience in Big 4 deals advisory team, investment funds, banking or equity research).
• Strong business acumen, good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is a plus.
• Professional qualification such as CPA and/or CFA is preferred.
