Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to provide architectural leadership for trading and corporate network projects, from design through production deployment. The role ensures secure, resilient, scalable networks aligned with regulatory and business requirements.

The candidate will review designs, advise on colocation and DR, collaborate with multiple teams, and drive production readiness in a 24x7 environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in network architecture, engineering or consulting in financial services or exchange environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline.
• Strong data center networking expertise including high-availability and non-blocking fabrics.
• Experience with colocation, cross-connect, DR architectures, and network security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Act as the network SME for trading and corporate projects from design through production deployment.
• Provide architectural guidance on trading networks, market data distribution, and exchange connectivity.
• Review designs, implementation plans, migration strategies, and change proposals.
• Advise on colocation, cross-connect, redundancy, resiliency, and capacity-planning initiatives.
• Collaborate with project managers, Network Operations, trading apps, InfoSec, and vendors.
• Support risk assessments, architecture governance, and production-readiness reviews.
• Ensure network solutions comply with regulatory, audit, security, and operational standards.
