Job summary

OKX in Hong Kong is seeking a Staff / Senior Staff Software Engineer, Mobile to own the mobile engineering for our P2P trading and fiat payment experiences across markets.

You will collaborate with compliance, legal, product, and regional teams to build localised, regulation-aware mobile flows; mentor engineers; and drive AI-assisted development workflows to raise quality and velocity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with mobile apps.
• Proficiency in iOS (Swift/Obj-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java).
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, API design, testing, debugging.
• Experience delivering reliable mobile features at scale.
• Ability to own projects and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the mobile engineering for P2P trading flows and end-to-end journeys.
• Build cross-regional fiat payment integrations across markets like SEA, LATAM, MENA.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (KYC, limits) in mobile payments.
• Collaborate with compliance, legal, product and regional teams.
• Drive payment architecture decisions with speed, maintainability and compliance.
• Apply AI coding tools to enhance development workflows.
• Mentor engineers and uphold high engineering standards.
