Job summary

Recruit Squad Limited is seeking a Middleware Engineer for a financial institution in Hong Kong. You will design and deploy enterprise messaging systems and collaborate with developers and business analysts to shape solutions.

The role requires 4+ years of middleware/SOA experience, hands-on MQSeries installation, migration and configuration, and the ability to document deployments while ensuring secure, scalable messaging infrastructure for critical business processes.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
University degree in information technology, computer engineering or related fields.
At least 4 years of experience with middleware/SOA technologies.
Understanding of messaging concepts – pub/sub, point-to-point, and MQ infrastructure objects.
Hands-on experience with MQ installation, migration, and configuration.
In-depth experience with middleware solutions.
Ability to provide technical documentation and deployment support.

Responsibilities

Design and deploy enterprise messaging system.
Collaborate with developers and business analysts for design and coding activities.
Design and support for message flow development.
Understand and analyse business needs, collect business users' requirements.
Provide subject matter expertise for standards/best practices, security threats and vulnerabilities as they pertain to middleware.
Provide a reusable foundation for future connectivity requirements.
Proactively manage workload of assigned team resources to achieve efficiencies.
