Job summary

American Phil Textiles Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Merchandiser to oversee order progression from design development through production, ensuring on-time delivery and quality.

The successful candidate will coordinate with designers, garment technicians, factories, and suppliers, organize fit meetings, and manage documentation. Strong communication, problem-solving, and proactive, detail-oriented work style are required; seniority may be considered for more experience.

Qualifications

• Practical merchandising experience that contributes to fit approval, development of new shape, best costing and right material is an advantage
• Self-motivate, detailed-oriented, independent, proactive, responsible, decisive working style. Able to work under pressure calmly
• Strong management skills in communication, co-ordination and overall controlling of order progress from sourcing, sample development to production monitoring
• More experience will be considered as Senior Merchandiser

Responsibilities

• Order follows up from product development to production
• Follow-up orders independently with vendors and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery
• Organize fit meetings between designer and garment technician, ensure all detailed/accurate information passed to vendors for production
• Good communication with factories, suppliers and customers
• Ad-hoc projects may be required
