YF Life Insurance International Ltd. is seeking a seasoned professional to lead enterprise transformation through system-architecture oriented initiatives across Hong Kong and Macau.

You will partner with business and IT leadership to drive architecture re-engineering, legacy modernization, and governance, ensuring regulatory alignment and measurable improvements in system stability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in IS/CS/Business/Management.
• 10+ years of experience in system architecture reconstruction / IT-operation transformation.
• Financial Services / Insurance sector experience preferred.
• Senior stakeholder communication skills.
• Proficient in English and Chinese (Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Translate enterprise transformation vision into system-architecture oriented initiatives.
• Draft phased transformation roadmaps; define scope, resources, budgets, and value for architecture re-engineering.
• Drive workstreams for system architecture re-engineering and legacy modernization; coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate cross-team conflict resolution and regular progress syncs with governance forum; escalate risks.
• Ensure architecture aligns with change requirements and Hong Kong insurance regulations.
• Support transformation governance mechanisms and risk controls for system delivery and legacy migration.
• Build dashboards and track KPIs like system stability, turnaround time, legacy retirement progress, and cost savings.

Responsibilities:

Work with business stakeholders and IT leadership to translate enterprise transformation vision into system‑architecture‑oriented initiatives (covering legacy system reconstruction, cloud/architecture optimization, operation‑system integration, and cost‑efficiency enablement).

Participate in drafting phased transformation roadmaps; assist in defining project scope, high‑level resource requirements, budget inputs, and expected business & technical value for architecture re‑engineering.

Drive workstreams for system architecture re‑engineering, legacy system modernization, and end‑to‑end operation‑IT process optimization. Coordinate cross-functional teams (Operations, IT, Finance, HR) to align requirements and break down departmental silos.

Facilitate cross‑team conflict resolution between business demand and system constraints. Conduct regular progress syncs with the Exco‑aligned transformation governance forum, escalating risks and roadblocks timely.

Partner closely with IT architects and business leads to ensure system architecture matches change requirements and Hong Kong insurance operational compliance regulations.

Support building transformation governance mechanisms and risk control frameworks, focusing on system delivery, architecture compatibility, and legacy‑migration risks.

Build performance dashboards for transformation work. Define and track technical & operational KPIs (e.g., system stability, process turnaround time, legacy‑system retirement progress, and architecture‑driven cost saving).

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or above; a background in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or Management is preferred.

10+ years of relevant working experience, with a proven track record in system architecture reconstruction / IT‑operation transformation within medium‑to‑large‑size enterprises (Financial Services / Insurance sector preferred).

Practical working knowledge of Hong Kong life insurance operations. Familiarity with China IT system landscape / cross‑border system integration is strongly preferred.

Excellent pressure resilience, risk judgement capability, and senior stakeholder communication skills (capable of reporting to Exco/Leadership).

Proficient communication skills in English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
