Job summary

Civil Service Bureau is seeking a senior communications professional for the Intellectual Property Department in Hong Kong. The role focuses on IP publicity, stakeholder engagement, and event management.

You will coordinate with local and overseas partners, lead campaigns, and manage events, requiring extensive experience and bilingual communication skills.

The appointment is a one-year non-civil service contract with renewal based on service needs and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/PR/Communications or related discipline from a HK university or equivalent.
• Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE/HKC EE or equivalent.
• Ten years’ post-qualification experience in marketing, public relations, events, or related fields, including at least five years at managerial level.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads and engage stakeholders through publicity campaigns and events on IP protection and promotion.
• Liaise with local and overseas IP offices, stakeholders, and government departments for partnerships and events.
• Lead and supervise organisation and implementation of IP-related events and activities.
• Drive collaboration with IP offices in ASEAN/APEC regions.
• Support media interviews, handle inquiries, and prepare IP subject materials.
