Job summary

The Hong Kong Jockey Club is seeking a Senior Manager, Charities (Sports Education Project) to lead a school-based music and sports education initiative for underprivileged children. You will oversee project partners, manage governance committees, and drive strategy, budget, and reporting to ensure outcomes align with the Club's charitable goals.

We expect at least a decade of relevant experience with five years in management, plus a Bachelor degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in relevant disciplines.
• 10 years' relevant experience, with at least 5 years at managerial level.
• Experience in transforming business requirements into insights for design of system requirements, contingency and risk mitigation.
• Experience in dealing with government, NGOs, education sector and professional bodies would be an added advantage.
• Solid experience in project management.
• Experience in sports sector is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage project partners in planning and implementation of the Sports Education Project's core components.
• Serve as Secretariat of Project Advisory Committee and Project Management Committee and conduct regular project management meetings with project partners.
• Ensure collaboration with project partners for aligned goals; manage progress, budgets, and internal reporting to Management and the Board of Trustees.
• Oversee the marketing strategy and campaigns to promote the project's brand and awareness in the community and the Trust's brand.
• Oversee IT-related project management including digital platform development and maintenance with vendors and partners.
• Oversee internal and external stakeholder engagement.
• Monitor external trends and risks; engage external consultants and implement mitigation measures with internal/external partners.
• Oversee the impact assessment and ongoing data analyses to facilitate necessary project adaptations.
