Job summary

BDO Limited is seeking a Senior Manager - Assurance to oversee listed company audits within the China Team and Financial Services. The ideal candidate will lead assurance engagements, ensuring execution aligns with firm policies and objectives.

We look for someone with at least 8 years of experience in assurance, a degree in Accounting, and strong leadership qualities. Excellent command of English and Chinese, along with a commitment to delivering exceptional service, is critical. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

Senior Manager - Assurance (China Team & Financial Services)

The candidate will be involved in listed company audits, including A+H share, H share and listed financial institutional companies.

Responsibilities:

• Be the auditor in charge of assurance engagements.
• Responsible for the planning and execution of audit fieldwork.
• Conduct audit work and ensure fieldwork is executed and completed as planned and in accordance to the firm’s policies and procedures.
• Support and act towards the BDO Global Vision.
• Be committed to act with the firm’s core values and competency expectations.

Requirements:

• Degree holder, major in accounting or other related disciplines.
• Qualified accountant.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in assurance, gained with a sizable accounting firm.
• Solid knowledge and experience in handling audit and assurance engagements.
• Excellent project management skills and outstanding leadership quality.
• A good and effective team player.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua.
• Be passionate about providing exceptional quality service and striving to exceed clients’ expectations.
• Travel to Mainland and other countries will be required.
