Job summary

Star Anise Limited in Hong Kong seeks a senior associate for its funds and private equity practice. You will handle cross-border private M&A and PE transactions for PRC-based and Southeast Asian clients, taking a lead role from day one in running deals and negotiating principal documents.

You must be HK-qualified with 7–10 PQE and a proven track record in private M&A/PE at a top firm. Mandarin fluency alongside English is highly valued for client work.

Qualifications

• Admitted in Hong Kong with 7–10 years' PQE.
• Extensive private M&A and PE experience at a leading firm.
• Senior associate appointment preferred; portable following considered.
• Fluency in Mandarin alongside English is advantageous.

Responsibilities
