Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Network Engineer to design high-performance, low-latency networks for APAC, with exposure to AMER & EMEA initiatives. You will join the Electronic Trading Network Engineering team and lead delivery from requirements to deployment, partnering with vendors and internal teams.

The role requires CCNP at minimum, CCIE/CCDE preferred, 7+ years in financial services, and a proven track record of global, cross-functional leadership in fast-paced

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a similar role within financial services.
• CCNP level minimum, CCIE/CCDE level preferred.
• Proven track-record of delivering business aligned low-latency network designs.
• Ability to act as a technical lead in a global organisation.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-performance, low-latency network solutions for global trading networks across APAC, AMER & EMEA.
• Provide Level 4 engineering support for major operational incidents in a follow-the-sun model.
• Collaborate with external vendors and internal engineering teams to advance low-latency trading networks.
• Deliver global network projects from initial requirements gathering and design through to deployment hand-over to operations.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation for stakeholders and peer teams.
• Work across technology departments to ensure business-aligned solutions and timely project updates.
• Act as SME and mentor team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
