Job summary

Crossings Executive Search is seeking a System Engineer for IT Service Management in Hong Kong. The role focuses on Linux-based system implementation, administration and support within an enterprise IT division.

You will monitor health and performance, assist with ITSM tooling (ServiceNow/JSM or similar), perform system upgrades, and troubleshoot incidents with vendors as needed. A degree in IT and 6+ years of Linux experience are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
• Minimum six years of Linux system implementation, administration and support.
• Practical IT Service Management experience (ServiceNow/JSM or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Check system and server healthiness and performance on daily basis.
• Perform system and database monitoring and tuning, system administration and support.
• Perform system upgrade or enhancements.
• Troubleshoot system incidents and escalate to vendors as needed.
