Job summary

Leadingnation is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to design, build, and operate mission‑critical Linux-based systems across virtualized and cloud environments. You will handle system implementation, production support, and contribute to architecture through PoCs and feasibility studies.

You will develop, test, install, and manage Linux systems, storage, and enterprise apps, while mentoring junior admins and coordinating with project teams on best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related discipline is required.
• 5–7 years of relevant IT infrastructure experience; 3+ years Linux system administration is advantageous.
• Proficient in shell scripting and automation, with solid server security practices.
• Hands-on experience with Linux distributions, virtualization, storage/backup technologies, cloud platforms and application servers.
• Experience with containerization/orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, install, and implement systems on virtualized Linux and major cloud platforms.
• Administer Linux environments, including system setup, patching, backups, software installation, monitoring, and health checks.
• Manage enterprise storage (SAN/NAS), capacity planning and performance.
• Lead feasibility assessments, PoCs and implementation of new IT infrastructure solutions.
• Advise project teams on system architecture and best practices; contribute to design reviews.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Provide 7x24 production on-call rotation for mission critical systems.
• Act as a mentor to junior system administrators when required.
