Job summary

TÜV Rheinland Group in Hong Kong is seeking qualified personnel for a chemistry/related laboratory role. You will perform standard and non-standard analyses, record results, and operate lab equipment in a dynamic environment that emphasizes safety and quality.

Fresh graduates are welcome as Technicians; candidates with GC-MS, LC-MS or ICP-MS experience will be advantaged and bilingual Chinese/English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Science / Chemistry / related disciplines.
• 1 - 5 years working experience in testing laboratory; title will be negotiated according to experience.
• Fresh graduate will also be considered as Technician
• With testing experience in GC-MS / LG-MS / ICP-MS or related will be advantaged
• Good communication skills in both Chinese and English

Responsibilities

• Performs standard and (if applicable) non-standard chemical, mechanical and/or electrical analyses or tests in a laboratory that require a higher education.
• Records results in laboratory test report, evaluates results if applicable.
• Installs, operates and maintains laboratory test equipment.
• Might calibrate and repair test equipment.
• Takes care of sample disposal and sample return.
• Other duties as assigned.
