Job summary

State Street seeks a senior hands-on Trading Systems Production Support Specialist to provide critical L2 production support for front-office trading, OMS/EMS, and market data platforms. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in front office production support / trading systems in asset management or capital markets.
• ITIL Foundation, ServiceNow CSA, AWS/Azure Cloud, SRE/AIOps, AI certifications.
• CFA Investment Foundations and related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 production support for front-office trading, OMS/EMS, and market data platforms.
• Serve as primary business-facing IC for traders and investment professionals during trading-day issues.
• Diagnose issues across order capture, routing, execution, booking, allocations, confirmations, and post-trade handoffs.
• Lead Major Incidents, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive timely service restoration.
• Troubleshoot complex application, data, database, messaging, and infrastructure issues with SQL, Unix/Linux, APIs, XML/JSON, FIX, SWIFT.
• Partner with development, infrastructure, vendor, and business teams to drive fixes and resilience.
• Use AIOps, observability tools and AI-SRE practices to improve monitoring and alert quality.
• Create or support self-healing agents and AI-assisted workflows for repeatable L2 troubleshooting.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks and support documentation.
