Job summary

Varmeego Limited is seeking a candidate to lead system development, testing and maintenance for large-scale projects in Hong Kong. The role involves supervising junior staff in front-end and back-end Java web development, performing technical analysis, and deploying applications.

The ideal candidate has a degree in CS/IT, at least 5 years IT experience (3+ in IT implementation projects), with strong knowledge of web-based systems, documentation, and English/Chinese communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science/IT or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification IT experience with 3+ years in IT implementation projects.
• Experience in analysis, design, and implementation of web-based application systems.
• Ability to produce system specifications and perform testing.
• Experience with Java development, deployment and server maintenance.
• Knowledge of JBoss, MS SQL and Windows Server is preferable.
• Good communication skills in English and Chinese.
