Senior Java Engineer — Microservices & Trading Platform

Job summary

DJRecruit Asia is seeking an experienced Java engineer to join our core platform team. Design and build production-grade services for trading and order lifecycle flows, partnering with product owners to deliver clean, maintainable solutions.

You will operate in a modern DevOps environment, owning deployments from development through production while collaborating with operations to ensure smooth releases and high availability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building enterprise-grade Java applications
• At least 5 years using the Spring ecosystem
• Hands-on with microservices architectures and distributed systems
• Experience delivering stable, high-availability services
• Practical knowledge of FIX protocol in trading workflows
• Experience integrating with OMS components
• Strong background in messaging (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ or Kafka)
• Familiar with automated testing practices in agile delivery
• Comfortable with Git, Jenkins, CI pipelines, Docker, Nexus and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of common design and enterprise integration patterns

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust production-grade services powering trading and order lifecycles
• Partner with product owners to translate requirements into clean solutions
• Operate in a modern DevOps setup from development to production release
• Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth, low-risk deployments
• Help maintain system health by addressing performance bottlenecks early
