Job summary

DJRecruit Asia is seeking an experienced Java engineer to join our core platform team. Design and build production-grade services for trading and order lifecycle flows, partnering with product owners to deliver clean, maintainable solutions.

You will operate in a modern DevOps environment, owning deployments from development through production while collaborating with operations to ensure smooth releases and high availability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building enterprise-grade Java applications
• At least 5 years using the Spring ecosystem
• Hands-on with microservices architectures and distributed systems
• Experience delivering stable, high-availability services
• Practical knowledge of FIX protocol in trading workflows
• Experience integrating with OMS components
• Strong background in messaging (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ or Kafka)
• Familiar with automated testing practices in agile delivery
• Comfortable with Git, Jenkins, CI pipelines, Docker, Nexus and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of common design and enterprise integration patterns

• Partner with product owners to turn business requirements into clean, maintainable solutions
• Operate in a modern DevOps setup, taking ownership from development through to production release
• Collaborate with the operations group to ensure smooth, low-risk deployments
• Help maintain system health by spotting and addressing performance bottlenecks early

Must-have experience

• 7+ years developing enterprise-grade applications in Java, with at least 5 years using the Spring ecosystem
• Hands-on work with microservices architectures and distributed systems
• Proven delivery of stable, high-availability services in demanding environments
• Practical knowledge of the FIX protocol and its use in trading workflows
• Experience contributing to or integrating with OMS (Order Management System) components
• Strong background in messaging and event-driven designs (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ or Kafka)
• Clear understanding of automated testing practices within agile delivery
• Comfortable with modern delivery toolchains: Git, Jenkins, CI pipelines, Docker, Nexus and Kubernetes
• Good grasp of common software design patterns and enterprise integration patterns
