Job summary

HR Plus is seeking a Senior JAVA Developer for a game industry start-up in Hong Kong. You will write high-quality Java 8 code, work with Spring and Spring Boot, and help scale distributed services for mobile games.

You will participate in agile processes, integrate CI practices, and contribute to localization and operation tasks, with a focus on robust, RESTful services and bug-free deployments. Immediate availability is highly preferred, offering a dynamic, fast-paced environment with growth

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Java 8, Spring and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of RESTful web-service development.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration practices.
• Experience working with large, distributed systems.
• Experience in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, JIRA).

Responsibilities

• Write high-standard, maintainable, and reusable code for game applications.
• Assist in game localization and operation.
• Help with the maintenance of the game server.
• Perform system development, testing, optimization, and bug troubleshooting.
• Analyze user requirements and provide system documentation.
• Conduct thorough testing.
