Job summary

HR Plus is seeking a Software Development Manager for their Hong Kong office to lead the IT department and drive development of iOS/Android apps for global release. You will oversee a dynamic, international team and ensure compliance with platform policies while delivering high-quality software on schedule.

The role demands hands-on mobile engineering leadership, excellent communication across English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and the ability to operate under pressure in a fast-paced gaming

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in mobile app development and releasing.
• Hands-on technical experience in building software products, preferably in gaming or financial services.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Proficiency in JAVA/Unity programming language.
• Familiarity with databases and caching technologies; Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the Hong Kong office, with a focus on the IT department.
• Lead and manage a team in developing and releasing iOS/Android mobile applications globally.
• Ensure compliance with policies and promptly address any violations.
• Ensure all deliverables meet technical, functional, performance, and business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful release of applications.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
