Job summary

Bitget seeks a senior audit lead to oversee risk-based engagements across financial and operational domains. You will drive the annual audit plan, review complex reviews, and ensure independence while providing advisory input on new products and changes.

You will manage governance, PoR-related controls, and cash/treasury reconciliations while communicating with executives and audit committees.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in internal/external audit with team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial-reporting controls and risk management.
• Ability to challenge senior management with credible findings.
• Excellent analytical and written reporting skills.
• Experience at a crypto exchange, custodian, or trading firm a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pillar's audit engagements end to end, ensuring quality against IIA standards.
• Own risk-based annual audit plan aligned to the group universe and emerging risks.
• Cover financial-reporting controls, treasury, reconciliations, and close processes.
• Oversee exchange and corporate operations audits, including PoR, custody, and governance.
• Present findings to Head of Internal Audit and senior management with remediation tracking.
• Coach and develop auditors, set technical standards, and advise on new products.
