• Present findings to Head of Internal Audit and senior management, track remediation.
• Lead, coach and develop auditors, set technical standards, advise on new products.

What you'll do

• Strategy & plan. Set the pillar's audit strategy and own the risk-based annual plan, mapped to the group audit universe and refreshed for emerging risks.
• Deliver. Lead, execute, and quality-review engagements end to end in line with IIA Standards, personally leading the most complex or sensitive reviews.
• Finance. Cover financial-reporting controls, the close process, treasury, cash management, and key reconciliations.
• Operations. Cover exchange and corporate operations — Proof of Reserves and asset-liability integrity, custody reconciliation, listing, the trading and liquidation engine and mark-price/index governance, plus procurement, vendor/third-party risk, and payroll.
• Report & influence. Present risk-ranked findings and thematic insight to the Head of Internal Audit, and senior management; agree and track remediation to closure.
• Lead. Lead, coach and develop the pillar's auditors, set technical standards, and provide advisory input on new products and change without impairing independence.

What you'll need

• 10+ years in internal/external audit covering financial and operational areas, gained at a bank, financial institution, Big 4 firm, or regulated financial-services business — including significant team or engagement leadership.
• A relevant professional certification: CPA, CA, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of financial-reporting controls, treasury/reconciliation processes, and operational risk, with the credibility to challenge senior management.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills, and a track record of presenting to executives or audit committees.
• Experience at a crypto exchange, custodian, brokerage, or trading firm, or familiarity with Proof of Reserves, custody reconciliation, and liquidation/mark-price mechanics.
• Data-analytics ability for reconciliation and full-population testing.
• Strong command in both English and Chinese.
