Job summary

Bitget is seeking a proactive Internal Control professional to strengthen its control environment in a fast-paced crypto setting. You will implement policies, perform risk assessments, monitor processes with data analytics, and drive governance across functions, partnering with teams to embed a strong control culture.

Reporting to the Head of Internal Control, you will shape internal control practices and support cross-functional risk management initiatives in a rapidly evolving industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or related discipline.
• 4+ years in risk management, internal controls, audit or assurance, preferably in fintech.
• Solid understanding of internal control and audit methodologies; experience in control testing is a must.
• Familiarity with crypto, blockchain, or virtual asset regulations is a strong advantage.
• Strong project management, planning, documentation, and remediation tracking.
• Self-starter with ability to own designated areas and work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity in a dynamic crypto environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and document internal control frameworks and SOPs tailored to Bitget’s needs.
• Roll out and govern internal policies, standards, and control frameworks.
• Identify control gaps, implement preventive and corrective actions.
• Review key workflows to assess control effectiveness and policy adherence.
• Use data analytics to monitor risks, detect anomalies, and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on fraud risk management and preventive controls.
• Lead initiatives to enhance controls, policies, and risk practices.
• Partner with internal teams to drive alignment and change management.
