Senior Insurance Specialist - Standard Chartered
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with branch sales staff to provide expert insurance planning services
  • Analyze customers' personal financial situations to identify their needs and recommend life insurance and investment-linked products that best address those needs
  • Deliver excellent service to maintain customer relationships and promote referral business to expand the client base
  • Coordinate and support sales events, including seminars,corporate functions etc.
  • Optimize business opportunities to meet individual sales targets
  • Provide training and coaching to sales staff to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality customer service
Ideal candidate
  • Degree qualification preferred
  • Extensive experience in relationship management and business development within the banking sector
  • Currently holds relevant Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination (IIQE) papers and Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute (HKSI) certifications
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, relationship‑building, and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to rapidly acquire new product knowledge
  • Effective time management, prioritization, and multitasking capabilities
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial products with a sharp awareness of market trends and benchmarking
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in alignment with the bank's strategic directives
  • Proficient in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese (written and spoken)
