Job summary

TF International Securities in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Institutional Sales to deepen relationships with existing clients and expand coverage across geographies and professional-investor segments. You will leverage research, ideas and analyst access to provide differentiated content and coordinate calls, roadshows and events.

The role requires 5+ years in institutional sales, strong knowledge of Greater China markets, and the ability to connect clients with a broad suite of capabilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, economics, business or a related discipline.
• At least five years of relevant institutional sales or client-coverage experience.
• Established relationships with international institutional investors.
• Strong understanding of Greater China and Asian markets.
• Experience with CRM and pipeline reporting tools.
• Holder of, or eligible to obtain, the relevant SFC licences required for the role.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin; proficiency in Cantonese or another regional language would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own and deepen relationships with existing institutional clients with coverage plans.
• Expand client franchise across geographies and investor segments.
• Provide differentiated content from research and coordinate analyst calls, roadshows and corporate access.
• Identify clients’ investment, execution, financing, hedging and liquidity requirements and connect them with the relevant product teams.
• Deliver execution services with Cash Equities Sales Trading while maintaining separation from order execution responsibilities.
• Develop cross-product opportunities with Fixed Income, ETFs, Delta One & Equity Finance, Structuring, Asset Management and other desks.
• Support eligible Investment Banking and Capital Markets opportunities within applicable information barriers and controls.
• Maintain accurate client, activity, pipeline and revenue information in CRM and management-reporting systems.
• Provide client feedback to Research, Trading and product teams, and coordinate onboarding and account development with control functions.
• Contribute to team development and the continued build-out of the Institutional Brokerage platform.
