Job summary

DBS in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Equity Sales Trader to build lasting relationships with institutional clients and execute orders across cash equities, ETFs, and derivatives. The role requires a strong grasp of Hong Kong regulatory requirements, a proven client-facing track record, and familiarity with Fidessa or Bloomberg trading platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Equity Sales Trader in an institutional setting.
• Knowledge of cash equities, equity derivatives, ETFs, SPACs, and private equity funds.
• Understanding of financial markets, trading dynamics, and regulatory frameworks (SFC, HKMA, MAS where applicable).
• Excellent client-facing skills and ability to build strong relationships.
• Licensed to trade equities in Hong Kong

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, understanding their investment objectives and needs.
• Execute client orders for equity and equity-related products.
• Provide market insights and trading ideas to clients with a credible basis.
• Utilize order management systems and coordinate with Middle Office for trade processing.
• Adhere to high standards of conduct and regulatory guidelines.
