Job summary

Taiping Reinsurance Co., Ltd. (TPRe) is seeking a professional to manage IFRS 17 month-end closing and related financial reporting. The role involves system planning and maintenance for SAP, Oracle and HFM, and close collaboration with IT and business units to upgrade finance processes.

You will also handle HKRBC regulatory reporting and solvency management, with additional duties as assigned by the supervisor. Excellent English, Cantonese and Chinese communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in an insurance financial role; Big Four experience preferred.
• Experience in Oracle, Hyperion, SAP and other financial systems maintenance.
• Experience in IFRS 17 system development.
• Experience in HKRBC regulatory reporting.
• Excellent oral and written English, Cantonese and Chinese communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for IFRS 17 month-end closing and audit, prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports.
• Responsible for the system planning, construction, upgrade and maintenance of financial system, such as SAP, Oracle and HFM.
• Coordinating with IT and Business Departments to drive the upgrade and process optimization of finance-related systems.
• Responsible for HKRBC regulatory reporting and solvency management.
• Other tasks assigned by the Superior.
