Job summary

Le Méridien Hong Kong, Cyberport, located at 100 Cyberport Road, seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the property's facility operations. You will oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, water treatment and safety compliance, partnering with regional teams to align with budget and brand standards.

Candidates should hold a Higher Diploma or Degree in Engineering, with 8+ years in hotel engineering or related fields, and prefer a Registered Electrical Worker Grade B.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma / Degree in related Engineering discipline or equivalent qualification background.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in the hotel industry.
• A holder of Registered Electrical Worker License Grade B is preferred.
• Good in Spoken and Written English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Work with property and regional engineering management to ensure the team is performing against budget.
• Manage the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment and electrical systems in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Develop engineering operating strategy that is aligned with the property/brand’s business strategy; manage projects as needed.
• Maintain and ensure safety systems, building & equipment licenses are current and complied with local regulations.
