Job summary

redfish solutions is seeking an experienced Interior Design Leader to join our hospitality and lifestyle design practice in Hong Kong. This senior, client-facing role focuses on design excellence, team leadership, and building strong client relationships throughout the design journey.

You will lead 2–3 concurrent accounts across hotels, restaurants, or wellness spaces, translating briefs into on-brand concepts and ensuring delivery from concept to design development while mentoring junior

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior interior design role within hospitality, hotels, F&B, or lifestyle sectors.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing a design team.
• Strong track record managing multiple client relationships simultaneously.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills — confident engaging with senior client stakeholders.
• A strong design portfolio showcasing creative concept development and hospitality/lifestyle projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of interior designers, guiding concept development through to design execution.
• Act as the primary creative and client-facing contact for 2–3 key accounts, building long-term, trusted relationships.
• Present design concepts, mood boards, and schemes confidently to clients and stakeholders.
• Translate client briefs and brand narratives into compelling, on-brand interior design concepts.
• Oversee design quality and consistency across all stages of a project (concept, schematic, design development).
• Coordinate with internal design teams to ensure creative vision is delivered on time and to a high standard.
• Provide creative direction and constructive feedback to junior and mid-level designers.
• Stay current with hospitality and lifestyle design trends, materials, and innovations.
