Job summary
Leadingnation is seeking an experienced FX Trading Lead to lead and grow our FX trading function supporting OSL's global payments and digital asset business. The role combines hands-on trading with leadership of a 5–7 person team in Hong Kong.
You will manage day-to-day FX trading, oversee market execution and liquidity, and develop trading strategies across G10 and EMFX currencies, including crypto exposures. A strong commercial mindset and risk discipline are essential.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on FX trading experience.
- Experience in Emerging Market FX (EMFX).
- Crypto, digital assets, or stablecoins experience is valued.
- Experience in payments, fintech or high-volume environments is a plus.
- Experience mentoring/trading teams; leading 5–7 people preferred.
- Mandarin proficiency preferred; GMT+8 coordination helpful.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day FX trading activities across relevant currencies.
- Execute and manage FX transactions with strong risk controls.
- Monitor market conditions, liquidity, spreads, and pricing.
- Develop and implement trading strategies to improve execution quality.
- Coach and develop traders while maintaining hands-on trading.
- Manage exposures and coordinate with Sales, Treasury, and Operations.
- Ensure compliance with risk limits and internal controls.
- Drive improvements in processes and tools as the business scales.
