Job summary

Millennium, a global, diversified alternative investment firm, seeks a Full-Stack Software Engineer in Hong Kong to join the Equities Research Tools team. You will collaborate with portfolio managers, quants and technologists to translate business needs into scalable software.

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining full‑stack apps, delivering intuitive interfaces with Angular or React, building backend services in Python and Spring, and applying AI-assisted automation to trading

Qualifications

7+ years of full-stack development experience, preferably in financial services or real-time trading.
Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring, Python and advanced SQL.
Experience with Angular or React; cloud technologies like AWS or Snowflake are a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications and services for equities research and trading workflows.
Build intuitive, high-performing user interfaces using Angular or React.
Develop scalable backend services using Python, Core Java, and Spring.
Partner with portfolio managers, risk researchers, and equities management to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Develop tools supporting idea generation, portfolio construction, and real-time trading.
Apply AI assistants and automation techniques to improve development workflows and business processes.
Design and optimize data solutions using advanced SQL and modern data technologies.
Contribute to the team’s engineering standards, code quality, and collaborative culture.
