EY in Hong Kong seeks a Staff/Senior Accountant to join Forensic & Integrity Services. You will assist on financial crime investigations, fraud prevention and regulatory compliance engagements, leveraging data analytics to detect irregularities and support investigations.

Qualifications

• Strong academic record with a bachelorb s degree in accounting or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Senior: 2–5 years of relevant work experience; Staff: 1 year of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an engagement team supporting clients to navigate complex issues of fraud, regulatory compliance and disputes; gather and review information and analyze financial irregularities.
• Perform independent investigative research and present observations to senior team members clearly.
• Collaborate to prepare working papers, schedules and reports for managers and partners.
• Maintain productive working relationships with client personnel, external auditors, legal counsels and regulators in sometimes sensitive situations.
• Proactively update senior team members on progress and risks.
• Stay informed of business developments and their impact on clients.
