Job summary

FTI Consulting (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a qualified Senior Consultant or Consultant to join the risk investigation advisory team. You will execute investigations, perform sophisticated accounting and financial analyses, and prepare short client reports under supervision.

You will work with senior staff on complex matters, develop knowledge of the legal process in litigation, fraud and compliance issues, and contribute to business development while supporting Mandarin-English communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related disciplines.
• Hong Kong or internationally recognised professional accounting qualification.
• 4–6 years of relevant professional accounting experience, preferably in forensic investigations, disputes or valuation.
• Fluent English; Mandarin preferred; strong report writing and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Reconstruct complex accounting records from incomplete information.
• Analyse large volumes of accounting records and assess evidence reliability.
• Conduct desktop public record research in English and Chinese.
• Lead investigations and prepare short reports for senior team review.
• Interact with clients and participate in meetings; mentor junior staff.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related disciplines

Hong Kong or internationally recognised professional accounting qualification

Proficiency in both written and spoken English; Mandarin preferred

Strong analytical and quantitative skills

Experience in forensic investigations or disputes beneficial

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
