Job summary

EY Hong Kong is seeking a Senior within Forensic & Integrity Services to join the eDiscovery and Computer Forensics team. You will manage engagements handling digital evidence collection, processing, analysis, and production for litigation, investigations, and regulatory inquiries.

Work alongside experienced forensic technologists and legal professionals, developing data governance strategies and providing strategic advice on legal holds and data preservation.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2–5 years of relevant experience in digital forensics, eDiscovery, or related technical disciplines.
• Experience supporting client engagements involving collection, processing, and analysis of ESI.
• Hands-on experience with forensic acquisition tools (EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite) and/or eDiscovery platforms (Relativity).
• Experience developing technical documentation, such as collection logs, chain-of-custody forms, and forensic reports.
• Experience supporting workshops or stakeholder engagement activities related to data preservation and legal holds.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of eDiscovery and computer forensics engagements for clients across industries, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.
• Assist in design and implementation of legal hold strategies, data preservation protocols, and collection plans.
• Conduct forensic acquisitions (imaging) of devices using industry-standard tools.
• Support processing, review, and analysis of large datasets using eDiscovery platforms, including de-duplication and keyword searching.
• Develop forensic reports, chain-of-custody documentation, and executive summaries for legal proceedings or investigations.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, data formats, and legal precedents in electronic evidence.
• Contribute to post-engagement reviews and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, IT Security and External Counsel on engagements.
• Manage workstreams and help deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Assist in business development, proposals, and thought leadership.
