Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an accomplished Finance Leader to oversee month-end close, consolidation, and regional FP&A for a multinational organisation. The role partners with commercial leaders, builds robust financial models, and drives strategic initiatives with data-driven insights.

The successful candidate will bring 10+ years of in-house finance experience in multinationals, strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, and senior stakeholder management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or MBA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Minimum 10 years of in-house finance experience in multinational environments, on top of Big 4 background.
• Proven FP&A, reporting, controls, and business partnering experience.
• Strong communication, presentation, and senior stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and quarter-end closing and reporting processes, lead consolidation and analysis of financial results.
• Prepare annual budget, forecasting, long-range planning, and projections with insights across P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and key metrics.
• Prepare executive-level financial reports and presentations for regional leadership.
• Serve as a trusted finance business partner to commercial and functional leaders.
• Develop robust financial models and evaluate strategic initiatives, investments, and go-to-market opportunities.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to support growth and operational decisions.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify risks, opportunities, and performance improvements.
• Lead internal controls, compliance, and governance matters.
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and value-added financial support.
• Drive employee engagement through coaching, feedback, and career development; lead performance management and succession planning.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or MBA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Minimum 10 years of in-house finance experience within multinational environments, on top of Big 4 background.
• Proven experience across financial planning & analysis (FP&A), reporting, controls, and business partnering.
• Strong business partnering and stakeholder management capabilities, excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Prior experience leading and developing finance teams.
• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
