Job summary

The Social Workers Registration Board is seeking a proactive, detail‑oriented financial professional to oversee accounting, reporting and internal controls within a statutory body. The role requires strong leadership in a collaborative environment.

Reporting to the Deputy Registrar, you will handle the Board’s accounts, follow up on audit work, oversee petty cash, verification for registration and CPD budgeting/compliance checks, with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with a recognized professional qualification (HKICPA/ACCA).
• At least five years of post-qualification experience, preferably in accounting and administration.
• Sound knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, budgeting and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills; able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Handle the Board’s accounts and follow up on audit work.
• Oversee petty cash and verification procedures for registration.
• Manage CPD framework budgeting and compliance checks.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.
