Job summary

A SOCIETY GROUP LIMITED in Hong Kong is seeking a Product Designer / Senior Product Designer (Eyewear) to drive end-to-end design for our eyewear portfolio and client projects.

You will partner with the Design Lead and Design Director, creating seasonal directions, building mood boards, and translating concepts into production-ready eyewear designs that meet brand guidelines and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of professional Product/Eyewear design experience.
• Exposure to OEM/ODM workflows or licensed brand design.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw; strong visuals for eyewear.
• Solid understanding of frame construction and ergonomics.
• Ability to follow design briefs and collaborate with factories.

Responsibilities

• Support the Design Lead in creating seasonal directions, mood boards, and translating concepts into eyewear designs for our brand.
• Design optical frames and sunglasses based on briefs, guidelines, and target prices for licensed and OEM/ODM projects.
• Develop complete frame designs, colorways, and material combinations across projects.
• Produce production-ready 2D technical drawings and revise factory drawings (sizing, hinges, bridge, lens curves).
• Source acetates, titanium components, hardware, and lens colors aligned with design directions and budgets.
• Review samples with the Design Lead, analyzing fit, weight balance, hinge performance, and finishing standards.
• Collaborate with manufacturing suppliers to communicate specs, address questions, and adjust tooling.
• Monitor sample production timelines across client projects to ensure timely revisions and approvals.
• Modify frame constructions and materials to meet client FOB cost requirements.
