Bullish is seeking a Senior Exchange Operations Analyst to join our team in Hong Kong. You will play a pivotal role in the ongoing operation of our NYSE-listed platform, owning end-to-end exchange activities and driving automation to scale capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in finance, business, CS, tech, or related field.
• 3+ years in trading ops, custody ops, or trade support in digital assets/FinTech/electronic trading.
• Solid understanding of crypto industry, custody solutions, and market structure.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments, Kubernetes, and Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Experience with electronic trading systems, FIX, APIs, and market data infrastructure preferred.
• Familiarity with risk management, KYC/AML, and cybersecurity best practices.

Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee day-to-day operations of the cryptocurrency exchange, including order routing, matching, settlement, reconciliation, and risk management.
• Own exchange platform configuration and monitor order latency; provide operational support for trading clients.
• Collaborate with Sales, institutional clients, Product, Engineering to support product launches and platform operations.
• Support end-to-end onboarding for institutional clients, addressing connectivity and product requirements.
• Identify and drive automation of client workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
• Maintain governance and risk controls; document procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead incident response for operational events; provide post-incident documentation and escalation.

Position Overview

We're seeking a Senior Exchange Operations Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in the future of digital asset trading. This is a high-impact individual contributor role where you'll be at the forefront of our exchange operations, ensuring the seamless and secure functioning of our NYSE-listed platform. Working as a senior member of the Exchange Operations team, you'll bring deep technical expertise and operational ownership to the day-to-day running of the exchange.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator with strong knowledge of electronic trading, market infrastructure, and operational risk. You thrive in fast moving environments, can independently drive complex initiatives to completion, and serve as a subject matter expert for both internal teams and institutional clients.

Role & Responsibilities

Exchange Operations: Execute and oversee the day-to-day operations of our cryptocurrency exchange, ensuring the integrity of the end-to-end trading lifecycle - from order routing and matching through to settlement, reconciliation, and risk management. Take hands-on ownership of exchange platform configuration, order latency monitoring, and operational support for trading clients.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with sales, institutional clients, and technology teams (Product, Engineering) to support the launch of new products and ensure seamless platform operations. Engage with Finance, Risk, Legal, and Compliance on regulatory and operational matters.

Client Onboarding: Support the end-to-end onboarding process for institutional clients, acting as a technical and operational point of contact to understand and address their connectivity and product requirements.

Process Optimisation & Automation: Identify and drive continuous improvement and automation of client workflows and operational processes to enhance platform efficiency, reduce operational risk, and scale capabilities. Take initiative in proposing and implementing solutions without requiring management direction.

Governance & Risk Management: Maintain and contribute to operational procedures and controls documentation to ensure regulatory compliance. Develop working knowledge of key exchange regulatory requirements, including DR functionality and testing, self-crossing prevention, pre-trade risk checks, cyber-security controls, and platform resiliency standards.

Incident Management & Escalation: Serve as a senior responder for operational incidents and platform events, leading triage and resolution efforts and producing post-incident documentation. Act as an escalation point for complex issues requiring deep technical or operational knowledge.

Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Computer Science, Technology, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in a trading operations, custody operations, or trade support role within digital assets, FinTech, or electronic trading.

Solid understanding of the cryptocurrency industry, custody solutions, digital asset market structure, and associated operational challenges.

Hands-on technical proficiency with Unix/Linux environments, Kubernetes, and major Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).

Practical experience with electronic trading systems, FIX protocol, APIs, and market data infrastructure strongly preferred.

Familiarity with risk management frameworks, digital asset custody workflows, KYC/AML requirements, and cybersecurity best practices.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with a track record of working independently on complex technical and operational challenges.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
