Job summary

CITIC Securities International is seeking a senior professional to provide day-to-day leadership for Equity Derivatives Operations in Hong Kong. You will prioritise workloads, guide the team and ensure accurate trade capture, settlement and lifecycle processing across Delta One, Prime Services and other derivatives.

You will drive control rigor, SLAs and issue resolution while coordinating with Trading, Sales and Finance.

Qualifications

At least 10 years in Equity Derivatives Operations, Middle Office or Trade Support with senior responsibility.
Strong knowledge of OTC and listed equity derivative products, booking models and lifecycle events.
Experience in service oversight, reconciliations and complex issue resolution.
Experience supporting new products, system implementation and process migration.
Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills; able to make decisions under pressure.
Advanced Excel and familiarity with data-analysis tools are advantageous.
Fluency in English; Cantonese and Mandarin are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Provide senior day-to-day support to the Head of Equity Derivatives Operations including prioritisation and team guidance.
Oversee operational support for Delta One, Prime Services, Equity Finance, exotic and flow derivatives, structured products and listed derivatives.
Ensure accurate and timely trade capture, validation, confirmation, settlement and lifecycle processing.
Provide end-to-end oversight of services delivered by Derivatives Ops, Collateral, Cash Ops, Asset Services and related teams.
Maintain clear service ownership, review SLAs, ageing items and escalation routes.
Oversee reconciliations across trade, position, cash, broker, counterparty and system interfaces.
Ensure first-line controls and evidence retention; lead incident management and risk reporting.
Represent Operations in new-product approvals, system changes and process improvements.
Build relationships with Trading, Sales, Structuring, Finance, Risk, Technology and Compliance.
Coach team members and contribute to succession planning and business continuity.
