Qualifikationen

• At least 10 years in Equity Derivatives Operations, Middle Office or Trade Support.
• Strong knowledge of OTC and listed equity derivative products, booking models and lifecycle events.
• Experience in service oversight, reconciliations, and operational controls.
• Experience supporting new product launches, system changes, and migrations.

EQD Operations - Deputy Team LeadThe Deputy Team Lead for EQD Operations oversees operational support for Delta One, Prime Services, Equity Finance, exotic and flow derivatives, structured products, and listed derivatives. This role ensures accurate trade capture, validation, confirmation, settlement, and lifecycle processing across various front-office and back-office functions. It plays a key part in maintaining operational integrity and service quality within a high-volume, complex environment.Our client is a financial services organisation providing specialised support for equity derivatives and related products with a focus on operational excellence and risk management.Role OverviewThe Deputy Team Lead reports to the senior management team and supports the leadership of the Derivatives Operations team. The role requires managing day-to-day trade and settlement activities, reviewing service levels and control issues, and escalating significant discrepancies. Success involves ensuring timely, accurate processing, maintaining strong control environments, and fostering effective stakeholder relationships. The role also involves supporting incident management, risk reporting, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.Key Skills & ExperienceLead operational support for a broad range of equity derivatives products.Manage trade capture, validation, confirmation, and settlement processes.Oversee reconciliations of trade, cash, broker, counterparty, and system-to-system accounts.Review service levels, aged items, settlement failures, control exceptions, and incidents.Support incident management, risk reporting, audits, and regulatory reviews.Build effective relationships with Trading, Sales, Finance, Risk, Technology, Legal, and external providers.Coach team members, support cross-training, and contribute to succession planning.RequirementsAt least 10 years of relevant Equity Derivatives Operations, Middle Office, or Trade Support experience.Strong knowledge of over-the-counter and listed equity derivative products, booking models, and lifecycle events.Demonstrated experience in service oversight, reconciliations, and operational controls.Experience supporting new product launches, system changes, and process migrations.Fluency in English is required.
